On Saturday, April fourth, at 3 PM, Chapter 10,
Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA)
will celebrate the Twenty-fifth anniversary of the dedication of the
Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Eden Park.

Designed and sculpted by Eleftherios Karkadoulias, the monument honors all veterans,
but especially the more than 90 thousand Vietnam veterans who reside in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Joining Chapter 10 in this ceremony will be, John Rowan, National president of VVA.
Color guards from other VVA chapters, and Wright – Patterson Air Force Base will join with the
Hamilton County Sheriff’s department bagpipers in honoring all veterans.

Also joining will be representatives of Senators Sherrod Brown and George Voinovich.
The chapter has invited Cincinnati Mayor Mark Mallory, members of the city council,
Hamilton County commissioners and Congressman Steve Driehaus.

All Veterans, their families and friends are invited to join Chapter 10,
in Eden Park for this solemn and historic ceremony.
