Just a reminder,
Saturday (May 15)
 Special Olympics Fundraiser

Team LeCI at the Warren County Armco Park .

We still have slots open for the golf tournament.
Please get with Dan Hudson or Ed Sauer to get registered.

We will have prizes for the winner of each hole.
Some of the donations for the golf tournament came from various business,
OCSEA Chapter 8310, LeCI SRT Team, Warden Brunsman, the Warren County Sheriffs Office
and personal donations.

Some of the prizes are a Chipotle Gift Card, Dominos Pizza, Play it Again Sports, Lucid Hair Salon,
Green fees from Clear creek Golf Center and many more.
If you can participate please come out.

Following the golf tournament will be the 5K Run/Walk

This event will raise money for the cause.
The first 75 registrations receive a free t-Shirt.
If you have not registered yet, you can do so online.

Awards will be given to the top finishers in each age division and overall in both the walk and run.
This is a good run to measure your endurance for the upcoming Torch Run on June 24.

We are still in need of volunteers to make this a success.
If you have a son or daughter that needs community service hours for their school,
please let me know as we could use them for the run.

Again, we need some more golfers and runners/walkers.

If you can't participate, please come and support the cause if you get a chance.

Team LeCI is planning on doing a large (hopefully) fundraiser on Saturday May 15
at the Warren County Armco Park off of State Route 741.

We are having a 5K run/walk and a golf tournament to benefit the Special Olympics.
We are hoping to get a lot of participation from around the county.

You can register for both events as the golf starts at 8:00 AM and the 5K walk/run begins at 1:30pm.

If you know of any businesses that would like to help in these events please forward them my name.

We are currently looking for business sponsors for this 5K Walk/Run and golf tournament in May
and/or the Warren County Torch Run in the June event for this great charity cause.

We are looking for event corporate sponsors (any donation for the 5K or Golf) ,
mile marker sponsors ($75.00), golf tournament hole sponsors ($20.00 to $50.00),
donations of products for the run and for door prizes, awards for the run, promotional items,
donated food and drinks and cash sponsors (operation of the 5K run race coordinator) for the fundraisers in May and for the Law Enforcement Torch Run in June.

Attached is a flyer for the Team LeCI Special Olympics 5K Run/Walk and Golf Tournament at the Warren County Armco Park . Please pass this information along to other co-workers, family, and friends as we are trying to make this fundraiser a huge success. If you know of staff at other institutions please forward it on.

We are also looking for volunteers so if you would just like to volunteer and help on the 15th.
Just let myself, Ed Sauer, and/or Dan Hudson know.
